What is Project Sandbolt ? 

Sandbolt is a project created on February 19, 2024 in France in Nice Côte d'Azur. This project aims to become a video game that will be sold on Steam or the Epic Games Stores. We want to realize our dream of creating our own video games. For this, we invest a lot of time and money in the project. This project is done in parallel with our studies, done with passion. We want to make a game that is really well done, done with finesse, good work and good quality. With the means at our disposal, we will use this to enable this.

Unreal Engine 
The game engine we use

To be able to promise an outstanding quality of graphics and an ease of creation to be able to have more time, we use Unreal Engine, the game engine developed by the company Epic Games, our game will propose an adventure made in an OpenWorld to be able to fully use the power of Unreal Engine 5 

Graphics Optimization 

This optimization is the basic optimization done by Unreal Engine 5, with only one mode, epic, quality, medium and low, we seek to push the optimization technology in our games by including Nvidia technology, but better graphics management so that everyone can benefit from the games in the best possible environment with their hardware.

Visual Studio
Code Editor

We use Visual Studio, a code editor made by Microsoft. We use it for all the C++ programming part and for artificial intelligence.

The game will offer an adventure to be experienced solo or with friends in cooperation, you can play online with your friends, with a player hosting the game, you can also face your friends, share nice little moments together in the game

The game offers you immersive gameplay with the first person, or magical gameplay with the third person, you can interact with your environment for more immersion

Adding Artificial Intelligence to our project

We fully use artificial intelligence in our project to save time and money and to create games with the most realistic logic possible.

We integrate artificial intelligence at various stages of our game's development. It assists us with coding, contributes to musical production (while leaving the most important and symbolic pieces to human creation), and allows us to reduce dubbing costs while facilitating multilingual adaptation. AI also plays a role in gameplay: bot and enemy behavior, environmental reactions, realistic mechanics management. We train our artificial intelligences to give them more advanced thinking skills, with the ambition of pushing their potential to the maximum in the service of our project.
